It’s time for Puppy Yoga at Northaven Trail, and what could be more fun? This event has really grown over the past two years and there are now more tickets available for the October 20th class. And look at all the cool sponsors who are participating! Ticket sales benefit Artists for Animals and Operation Kindness.
Don’t wait to reserve your spot because these classes always sell out. Read the details and purchase your tickets online here.

Our Tiny Dog Calendar contest is complete and we sold a record number 15,695 votes! This money will be distributed via grants to a variety of local animal rescue groups within the next couple of months. This is how we all save lives and help relieve overcrowding in local area shelters — SO THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTES- and congratulations to our winners!

If you’re a member of an animal rescue group in the north Texas area and would like to apply for a grant, please email us at artistsforanimalstx@gmail.com with the subject line that reads: GRANT PROPOSAL REQUEST and we will email you the appropriate form!

Voting is almost half over and we’re a whisker away from 6000 votes! What’s your voting strategy? Waiting until the last minute might and then spending the whole amount? That might sound like the thing to do, but you’re voting blind that last evening and hanging back doesn’t incentivize the pack!
If some of our dogs in the middle of the race think they’ve “got it made” they might not try as hard — and we all need a dangling carrot (um, er, bone?) once in a while. So why not do half now and save half for the finish line?
Whatever your strategy, we’re so very grateful for your support — and may the best dogs win!

Artists for Animals presents Mozart in the Sky, a fundraiser concert event featuring Trio Kavanah. All ticket sales and donations go to animal charities in North Texas.

We’re almost ready to send these beautiful dogs out to FETCH some votes! Our annual calendar contest starts August 15th with 28 local dogs competing for your attention. Each vote costs $1 and 100% of the voting proceeds go to the Artists for Animals Grant fund to be disbursed annually to a variety of animal rescue organizations in our local (Dallas) area. For more information about the groups we have supported in the past, visit the WE SUPPORT page. This year’s goal is to raise $20,000 — so vote often and share the link for voting with your friends!

Our SEVENTH annual Concert for Kindness will feature all the wonderful music, photography and artwork you’ve loved in the past — plus, of course, the lovely wine and nibbles from the wonderful caterers who perform their magic at the Meyerson Symphony Center ( can you SMELL the bread pudding?) — so don’t delay. This beautiful intimate performance space (formerly known as Dallas City Performance Hall) only holds so many! Click here to buy your tickets — or email us at artistsforanimalstx@gmail.com if your firm or group would like to purchase a sponsorship. It’s a one-of-a-kind event benefiting Operation Kindness,

We are so grateful to the families that turned out to support our latest Artists for Animals fundraiser with Santa on behalf of Road Trip 4 Paws. $2300 was raised to aid them in their mission to transport adoptable pets from overcrowded Texas shelters to safe havens and homes in other states. As one of the largest transport partners at Dallas Animal Services, Road Trip 4 Paws is really making a difference!

Our hearts are overflowing and our tails are wagging! This year’s event was so much fun. And the adoptable pets at Operation Kindness will benefit to the tune of $80,000 thanks to the generosity of our Artists for Animals sponsors and donors.

Many thanks to the wonderful artists — like Kyle Clark’s Advanced Drawing class at Booker T Washington School for the Visual and Performing Arts and many others. We’re already excited about next year — save the date! March 11, 2018.
