Booker T Washington School for the Arts

Young artists and the Concert for Kindness

We made a visit to Kyle Clark’s Advanced Drawing Class at Booker T. Washington School for the Visual and Performing Arts as we do on a regular basis, and as usual were completely amazed.  The creative energy of these wonderful young artists makes every minute there an real treat.  The artwork they are doing for this year’s Concert for Kindness Silent Auction is nearing completion and so beautiful.

Meet the artists…

I was never more surprised or impressed walking in to a classroom than the day I entered Kyle Clark’s Advanced Life Drawing class at Booker T Washington School for the Arts in Dallas.  I knew the school’s reputation for excellence, but the quality of the work by these young artists was beyond anything I had expected.  It made me want to go back to school.

We are so fortunate to be the bridge between these young hearts and the animals in need. I hope you’ll attend our concert and art auction on February 13th and see some of their amazing work in person — it will lift your spirits and give you a chance to own a little piece of their genius.
