It’s April 23, 2023 at 4pm and you’re going to want to be there when Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s ERIN HANNIGAN and other symphony stars play for the animals they love. A beautiful afternoon of music unfolds as they perform with their hearts to save the homeless pets of north Texas. More details soon.
If you run an animal rescue not-for-profit in the North Texas area (and you don’t have any paid employees), you’re eligible for a grant from Artists for Animals. Starting September 1st, you can fill out a simple form with information about your organization and we will present it to our Board of Directors at the fall meeting. The groups chosen will receive a check from AFA.
We are open for submissions during the month of September only, so if you can’t return the grant form before midnight, September 30th, I’m sorry but we will be unable to consider your request. Email us for the form you need: artistsforanimalstx@gmail.com and we’ll see if we can help!

Our new venue for 2017 has 750 seats and lots of room for art and animal lovers!
Join us Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the fabulous Dallas City Performance Hall for this multi-media event featuring classical music from some of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s finest musicians. Also featuring photography and art from some of Dallas’ budding new artists (on sale exclusively in our silent auction), Dancers from Avant Chamber Ballet and Wine and Dessert.
All to benefit Operation Kindness — Dallas’ oldest and largest no-kill shelter. Be sure you get your tickets early — available online now- just click the BUY TICKETS tab above.
But you can always help save a life by making a donation! With your help we raised over $7700 dollars. The 2017 Tiny Dog Calendar is available here and a portion of each sale benefits homeless dogs in the Dallas area. So grab your holiday shopping list and fill a few stockings early.
And don’t be surprised to see some of these dogs pop up in an art display in some public space around Dallas — they are ready to show off and tell their rescue stories! Helping encourage people to adopt and not over look the beautiful animals waiting for homes is a big job, so help them by sharing the times and dates as the exhibitions are scheduled? Thank you!
Pandah! By a nose and a half. The competition was fierce and every one of these dogs deserved to win — so our deepest thanks to the families who fought hard and campaigned for their pets. Each dog will receive a gift print of their calendar shot and a copy of the calendar. Best of all, the homeless pets of Dallas win as Artists for Animals continues to fight for their welfare. Thank you!
A wonderful new venue for us this coming year — CITY PERFORMANCE HALL- and lots more seats to sell! This could be the concert event that tops all the charts for money raised for our furry friends. Help us spread the word — and mark your calendars today!
